“Louis Jadot Pouilly-Fuisse is a classic wine from a classic Bourgogne producer that is easy to find! This is a Chardonnay from the Mâconnais sub-region of Bourgogne, specifically the village of Pouilly-Fuissé. Being partially barrel-fermented for six months in French oak casks makes this wine both clean, crisp, and rich. It has aromas of lemon, pear, and red apples plus toasted nuts and a rich, textured mouthfeel on the palate. Great on its own or paired with foods like creamy pastas.”

“When people think of California winemaking, they often default to Napa, Sonoma, and the Central Coast. But there’s a budding region in Southern California, and people should really pay attention. An hour north of San Diego, Temecula is producing world-class wines.”

“Napa Valley, California is the crown jewel of wine regions in the United States, and perhaps in all of the New World. It is 35 miles long and 5 miles wide, but you might not think of downtown Napa as a place to wine taste. Urban tasting rooms are becoming more and more popular in commercial and downtown areas, as they provide accessibility and ease. No need to worry about 20 – 30 minute drives between tasting rooms! Over 50 tasting rooms reside in the few square blocks of downtown Napa.”
